Wednesday, November 6, 2024 Fiji Airways, Fiji’s national airline, has unveiled a significant enhancement to its onboard connectivity, providing Economy Class passengers with complimentary full-flight messaging Wi-Fi starting November 1st. This marks an improvement over the previous 15-minute limit and is available on the airline’s modern Airbus A350 and Boeing 737MAX aircraft. In today’s world, where connectivity is essential both on the ground and in the sky, this new service enables travelers to stay in touch with friends and family throughout their journey via their preferred messaging apps, all at no extra charge.
“At Fiji Airways, we believe that the journey should be as enjoyable as the destination itself,” said a spokesperson for the airline . “This initiative reflects our commitment to listening to our passengers and turning their feedback into innovative solutions that enhance the travel experience from start to finish.” In addition to the complimentary messaging service, full-flight browsing Wi-Fi is already offered to Business Class passengers.
To expand connectivity options for all travelers, Fiji Airways’ onboard Wi-Fi plans have been updated to provide more cost-effective choices, starting at only USD 7.95, with options for browsing or streaming access at affordable rates. This development follows recent recognition at the APEX Official Airline RatingsTM, where Fiji Airways was honored with the Five Star Major Airline Award for three consecutive.
