Vadodara: The Federation of Gujarat Industries (FGI) will be holding the " National Conclave on Supply Chain Management : Issues and Challenges" in the city on Oct 22. The conclave will focus on critical challenges arising from global supply chain disruptions and will examine strategies to be adopted by the industry to tackle these challenges. The conference is designed for a wide-ranging audience, including managing directors, directors, chief executive officers, owners and partners, as well as professionals engaged in manufacturing, international trade, supply chain management, finance, marketing, legal and regulatory affairs, customs and logistics.
Sanjay Swarup, chairman and managing director of Container Corporation of India Ltd, will be the chief guest of the conclave. The guest speakers at the conference include Ravinder Panthri, managing director of sales at FedEx; Shobhit Bhatnagar, director of operations and business development at DFCCIL, Indian Railways; Savio Almeida, head of commercial sales at Mediterranean Shipping Company; and Dipak Dalwadi, senior vice-president, head of SCM, ELECON Engineering Company Ltd. The conference will start at 10am at FGI Business Centre on the Gotri-Sevasi Road.
