A doctor has issued a stark warning that feeling dizzy in the morning could be a sign of a "profound" health issue. TikTok 's Dr Nathan Keiser has highlighted the importance of paying attention to this symptom, as it may indicate your brain is struggling to get enough oxygen. In his post, Dr Keiser shared insights into the potential implications of dizziness and how to address it.

He advises anyone who regularly feels dizzy upon standing up in the morning to seek medical advice, while also shedding light on the possible reasons behind this sensation. He commented: "If you're standing up in the morning and you're dizzy every morning, there's probably another symptom that goes with that." Although Dr Keiser stopped short of detailing what the accompanying symptom might be, he did caution about the broader concept of "selfish brain theory," which was detailed in a 2011 study.
