An autumn fashion show organised by two Ryde boutiques raised more than £2,000 for an Isle of Wight charity last week. The biannual event, run by Bellissima and Sugar and Spice Lingerie, was held at the Ocean View Hotel in Shanklin. The chosen charity this year was Ability Dogs for Young People, and several puppies and their parents took to the catwalk while Carol Court, its founder, explained what her organisation did and how the funds would be used.
The event attracted hundreds, and once the puppies had finished strutting, onlookers were treated to a cabaret from mother and daughter duo, Paula and Georgie Johnson, also known as Just Us Duo. Soon after, 24 models took to the catwalk, showcasing autumn outfits from the likes of Browns, Goose Island, Alice Collins and London Fashion, as well as a fabulous selection of evening dresses.
