NEW DELHI: Renowned fashion designer Rohit Bal passed away at 63 on Friday. He breathed his last at a private hospital in Delhi. He was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday following a heart attack.
Rohit Bal, born in Srinagar, won the 'Designer of the Year' award at the Indian Fashion Awards in 2006. He was also selected as the Lakme Grand Finale Designer in 2012. In October, Rohit Bal showcased his collections at the Lakme Fashion Week Grand Finale under the theme 'Kaaynaat: A Bloom in the Universe'.
