A man has been sentenced following a series of thefts in the Farnworth area and breaching a harassment order. (Image: Google maps) Timothy Nolan, of no fixed abode, was sentenced to 12 weeks imprisonment on Saturday (October 26) and slapped with a fine of £239 after appearing at Manchester & Salford Magistrates' Court. In addition, a five-year Criminal Behaviour Order was secured against him by officers of the Bolton South Neighbourhood Team.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: “Any breaches to this order should be reported to police. “Criminality will not be tolerated, and the Bolton Neighbourhood Teams are working hard to manage those who are a detriment to the community.
