Article content Distrust and deceitfulness are back as series The Traitors Canada reruns for its second season Sept. 23 at 10 p.m.
on CTV. Hosted by actress Karine Vanasse (Cardinal), 22 Canadians compete for a cash prize of up to $100,000. In that group are three contestants from B.
C., including popular bachelor Kirkland Douglas. The and horse boarder from the Rosedale area of Chilliwack is joined by fellow B.
C. hopefuls Mike Browne, a true crime podcaster and author from Langley and Kyra, a fitness YouTuber from Surrey. Due to privacy reasons CTV does not release surnames, they only confirm anyone who has publicly posted their surname themselves.
“Season 2 cast includes well-known media personalities, comedians, YouTube and content creators, athletes, and everyday people such as a wilderness educator, paranormal enthusiast, true crime podcast host, and more,” said a statement from CTV. Described as a “cunning game of cat and mouse,” Traitors basically works this way: the host picks three people to be the Traitors and the rest are the Faithfuls. Each night, the Traitors get together and murder a Faithful.
The whole time the Faithfuls are trying to identify the Traitors. Once identified the Traitors are kicked out the game. If the Faithfuls are able to banish all the Traitors, they will win the final cash prize of up to $100,000.
