One of the most intriguing trends on the defensive side of the ball this season has to do with the Los Angeles Chargers. Through nine games, they still have not allowed an opponent to score more than 20 points in a single game. Their 13.
1 points allowed per game would be the best mark since the 2006 Ravens. Unfortunately, not every defense can be like the Chargers. On the opposite end of the spectrum, we have the Panthers who are allowing over 30 points per game.
Somehow, they were able to hold Daniel Jones and the Giants to just 17 last week in Germany. While it might be nice to have a defense like the Chargers on your fantasy roster, not everyone will have that luxury. Most fantasy managers will have to examine weekly matchups to decide which defense they want to plug into their lineup.
