Saturday Night Live ’s attempt to capitalize on the interview between Vice President Kamala Harris and Fox News’ Bret Baier hasn’t landed well, with many taking to social media to rip the skit apart. The interview made headlines for its tense nature , and Baier has since admitted to making a “mistake” during it. However, fans have had critiques about the parody , which saw Alec Baldwin ’s return to the show’s set for the first time since his charges of involuntary manslaughter in the Rust movie set shooting was overturned.

While some were initially furious that Baldwin was a part of the cast, portraying the part of Baier opposite Maya Rudolph’s Harris, others felt it was a poor attempt by NBC to try and give Harris a boost. Many comments surfaced on social media that slammed the parody. Those commenters were convinced the skit was a lame means of trying to get a more favored judgement in the court of public opinion.

“Well, Kamala is collapsing in the polls so a desperate @nbcsnl brought out its big ‘guns,’” one person wrote on X. “Nice ‘shot’ SNL, but @realDonaldTrump is still headed for a landslide win!” a second commented. “It’s getting obnoxious.

Kamala goes on Fox and looks awful,” a third said. “The leftist press puts the press on to say that she actually did amazing..

.when that failed they predictably rolled out SNL to put out a fictional version of events that dumb people will believe because laughs and actors.” Don't miss: Syd.
