JOURNEY fans have been left fuming after the seventies rock icons cancelled their UK tour at the last minute. With members currently embroiled in a legal battle, the band gave no explanation as they put the decision down to "circumstances beyond their control". Journey released a statement yesterday reading: "Due to circumstances beyond the band's control, Journey's UK and Ireland tour is unfortunately cancelled.

"Refunds will be made from your point of purchase." The 50th anniversary tour, which has already travelled across the U.S.



, was set to begin in Cardiff in October and travel to cities including Glasgow , Manchester , Birmingham and London . Another said: "Journey just cancelled their tour I was so excited for it too." A third asked: "Any idea lads why the Journey tour has been cancelled?" While no official reason has been given for the cancellation, the decision comes amid growing tensions within the band. Just last week, keyboardist Jonathan Cain filed a lawsuit against guitarist Neal Schon, accusing him of excessive spending related to the tour.

Jonathan claims that Neal's financial mismanagement could potentially cause severe damage to the band and its legacy. The lawsuit alleges that Neal has exceeded agreed-upon spending limits for accommodation and travel, including chartering private jets and booking expensive hotel suites. Jonathan also claims that Neal has blocked attempts to pay the band's debts.

Journey’s frontman, Arnel Pineda, has previously spoken out about the difficulties of touring with the band.
