After Swift, 34, stepped out in a vintage 1990s leather Kansas City Chiefs jacket on Monday, November 4, while cheering on boyfriend Travis Kelce at his game, eBay seller Court took to TikTok to share her excitement about unknowingly selling her coat to the pop star for only $170. “Y’all, Taylor Swift was wearing my old jacket at the Chiefs game tonight !” she said in the video, explaining how Swift got her former garment — which features a black body, multiple Chiefs patches and the team’s signature red and gold colors.
As Swift arrived at Arrowhead Stadium, Court’s mom pointed out that the jacket looked “familiar” and just like the one her daughter “used to have.” “I was like, ‘Did we sell that on eBay?’ So, I checked with my dad and he was like, ‘Yeah, isn’t that the one that went out to California?’” Court also recalled that her jacket had a permanent crease in the back, which could be seen in her listing photos, and that same mark was spotted on Swift’s coat.
