The loved ones of late actor Johnny Wactor are calling for more help from the public and officials to find the suspects responsible for the soap star’s death. The former “General Hospital” actor was shot on May 25 when Wactor and a co-worker interrupted thieves who were attempting to steal a catalytic converter from his car in downtown Los Angeles. Since the fatal shooting, no arrests have been made.

Wactor’s mother, Scarlett Wactor, stood on the steps outside of Los Angeles City Hall Tuesday and pleaded for any new information that might help solve her son’s murder, and offer some closure to his wrongful death. “I’m asking that anybody that knows anything please come forward,” Wactor, of South Carolina, said at the news conference, per The Associated Press . “It will help me and his brothers in our healing to know that they’ve been captured and convicted.

” Police recently reached out to the public for their help on Aug. 5 when they released surveillance images of three unidentified suspects and their getaway car, which was a stolen 2018 black Infiniti Q50. “Grief is my constant companion.

I can’t wish him happy birthday on Aug. 31. He would have been 38.

I can’t ask if he’s coming home for Christmas. I can’t ask how his day went,” Scarlett Wactor said. “We will make sure that no family has to endure the pain that Scarlett is enduring today,” City Councilman Kevin de León said during the news conference.

“We want justice for Johnny, and we shall have it.” Wactor portrayed Brando Corbin on the ABC soap opera “General Hospital” from 2020 to 2022. He also appeared in films and TV series including, “Station 19,” “NCIS” and “Westworld.

” As previously reported , the 37-year-old was leaving his second job at a downtown bar later than he usually did with a co-worker. That’s when he spotted a man near his car and thought it was being towed. When he saw that the man had a mask on, Wactor stepped in front of his co-worker to shield them from being shot.

As a result, he was fatally shot once the masked man opened fire. Stories by EmilyAnn Jackman This legendary beauty products seller has filed for bankruptcy Barack Obama’s summer reading list of his 14 must-buy books is out Simone Biles’ birth mother speaks out, begs for forgiveness.
