Monday, July 8, 2024 In a groundbreaking initiative to enhance event experiences, BMA House has launched the “History of BMA House Tour.” This unique offering enriches evening gatherings by immersing attendees in the venue’s rich historical significance. Our historic London venue serves as a stunning backdrop for a variety of events, including conferences, parties, weddings, awards ceremonies, and meetings.

Designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens in 1911, this Grade II listed building has been home to the British Medical Association since 1925. Recently updated with state-of-the-art AV facilities, our spaces provide an inspiring environment for guests to meet, work, and mingle. Additionally, BMA House boasts two large outdoor areas – an impressive Courtyard and a tranquil botanical Garden – a rare find in such a central location.



Nestled in the heart of London, BMA House offers excellent transport links and a variety of spaces including the Courtyard, Garden, Great Hall, and Prince’s Room, not to mention the building’s incredible façade, which provides a fantastic backdrop. The integration of a historical tour, delivered by the BMA Archive team, into events – particularly evening receptions and dinners – can significantly enhance attendee engagement, enrich learning opportunities, and potentially boost attendance due to the unique value-added experience.
