Monday, August 12, 2024 Xi’an, the historic capital of Shaanxi, has joined the growing list of Chinese cities offering a 144-hour visa-free transit policy, now available at 36 other ports of entry across the country. Under this policy, citizens from 54 nations, including the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, can visit Shaanxi without a visa for up to 144 hours (six days).
