It seems that Miami’s South Beach couldn’t possibly absorb yet another club or restaurant opening but given the enduring popularity of that vacation spot, there’s always another new option on the beach. The next one on the boards is the 15,000 square foot dining and entertainment venue Oro and Elixir opening on main thoroughfare Lincoln Road this fall. The location is rooftop; the focus, global, inspired by Golden Era Hospitality founder Philippe Kalifa’s travels around the world.

Chef Victor Munoz is crafting a menu fusing local flavors with international preparations such as Dry Aged Rohan Duck with sweet potato, lavender, hibiscus and red rosebud jus and Tom Kha crudo with amberjack, wasabi and Miami fruit finger lime. That menu will be served in a 300 seat setting with gilded ceilings in the indoor dining room and a terrace open to the Miami sky. Naturally, you enter through a lineup of gold arches.

Outside of South Beach, there was a significant opening this summer: the first part of Casa Neos , a 30,000 square foot complex bordering the Miami River in Downtown Miami. The other sections will be unveiled next year. Created and operated by Riviera Dining Group , major players in the Miami hospitality market, the complex is designed as a four-experience site.

The namesake restaurant is open on the first two floors, a boutique hotel is scheduled to open on the third and NOORA , a restaurant and lounge devoted to Moroccan and other North African influences is schedule.
