The cruise line has unveiled an array of exceptional experiences, including the fastest and tallest waterslides, over 40 dining and drinking options, and adventures in stunning locales such as the Perfect Day at CocoCay in The Bahamas. This ultimate vacation combination is designed to create unforgettable memories for all, departing from Port Canaveral (Orlando), Florida.

Come August 2025, families and vacationers of all kinds can enjoy the celebrated features introduced by Icon of the Seas, along with exciting new offerings like the Lincoln Park Supper Club – a 1930s Chicago-themed dining experience that blends multi-course meals with live entertainment. The ship boasts a wide range of attractions, from the thrilling six waterslides at the Category 6 waterpark to seven pools, one for each day of the week. Young families will love the Surfside neighborhood, while adults can relax in the Hideaway, one of only two suspended infinity pools at sea.

“Star of the Seas is the second bold act of this exciting, new era of vacations first introduced with Icon of the Seas, and it’s putting the world’s best vacation on the map at yet another top travel destination,” said Michael Bayley, president and CEO, Royal Caribbean International. “Between Miami and Port Canaveral (Orlando), more adventurers than ever can set their sights on the only vacation that combines the best of all vacations – from the beach retreat to the resort escape and the theme park adventure – with experiences that have and will continue to make headlines and memories for years to come.” Star is poised to elevate the Icon Class experience with its innovative blend of eight neighborhoods, each offering a unique destination within the ship itself.

These neighborhoods feature everything from top-tier dining and lively bars to captivating entertainment and more. Among the standout neighborhoods are five that are exclusively designed for Icon and Star: Thrill Island – Packed with adrenaline-pumping activities, this area includes the record-breaking Category 6 waterpark, which was first introduced on Icon and boasts six thrilling waterslides, from family raft slides to daring drop slides and competitive mat-racing duos. The adventure continues with Crown’s Edge, a skywalk and thrill ride 154 feet above the ocean, along with classic favorites like the FlowRider surf simulator and mini golf.

Guests can also grab a bite or drink at spots like Basecamp and Desserted. Chill Island – This serene, three-deck paradise is home to four of the ship’s seven pools, each offering different vibes and breathtaking ocean views. Highlights include the swim-up bar Swim & Tonic and Royal Bay, the largest pool at sea.

With live bands and DJs setting the mood, and convenient food and drink options like The Lime & Coconut, vacationers can relax and enjoy both day and night. Surfside – Tailored for young families, Surfside is where they can spend the day together without compromise. This neighborhood features splash zones for kids and toddlers at Splashaway Bay and Baby Bay, while adults can unwind at Water’s Edge pool.

Dining options like Surfside Eatery and The Lemon Post bar cater to both adults and children. AquaDome – A tranquil oasis by day and a vibrant entertainment hub by night, AquaDome sits atop Star with stunning wraparound ocean views. It features spectacular shows at the AquaTheater, where high divers, aerialists, robots, and dancers take center stage.

Guests can enjoy a variety of dining and drinking options, including the AquaDome Market food hall, Rye & Bean bar, Hooked, The Overlook bar, and the Overlook Pods for unforgettable views. The Hideaway – Nestled 135 feet above the ocean, this adults-only retreat combines the relaxed vibe of global beach clubs with a suspended infinity pool—one of only two at sea, alongside Icon’s. The area also features a DJ, a dedicated bar, a terrace with whirlpools, and uninterrupted ocean views.

Icon Class favorites have been reimagined on Star to round out the ultimate vacation experience. These include the Royal Promenade, offering floor-to-ceiling ocean views, and the awe-inspiring Pearl, the world’s largest kinetic art sculpture. With over 15 restaurants, bars, and lounges, including the open-air Central Park lined with more than 30,500 real plants, Star brings the best of dining and entertainment, featuring venues like the new Lincoln Park Supper Club, live music at Lou’s Jazz ‘n Blues, and quick bites like sushi and champagne from convenient pick-up windows.

The ultra-luxe Suite Neighborhood adds an exclusive touch to the experience. In addition to Star, the newly launched Oasis Class ship, Utopia of the Seas, offers the ultimate short getaway when it arrives in Port Canaveral (Orlando). By next summer, travelers can choose between a weeklong Caribbean vacation, a 3-night weekend escape, or a 4-night weekday retreat to The Bahamas.

Adding to the excitement, the highly anticipated Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in The Bahamas will open in late 2025, marking the debut of Royal Caribbean’s Royal Beach Club Collection..
