During a recent layover after a red-eye flight from London on Emirates flight EK42, I had the opportunity to experience this arrivals lounge, which is accessible to Lounge-Key and Priority Pass members. It turned out to be the perfect spot to relax and rejuvenate.
Located landside in Terminal 3, just after the customs declaration point, the lounge is conveniently positioned for travelers who have collected their baggage. Clear signage directs passengers to the lounge, alongside Emirates’ chauffeur service counters, making it easy to find, even for those unfamiliar with the airport’s layout. With Plaza Premium’s reputation for luxury, I had high expectations, and the lounge did not disappoint.
It features two reception desks at either end, making it easily accessible from different directions. Upon check-in, a staff member verified my boarding pass and lounge access card, providing a warm welcome and setting the tone for a relaxing experience. Despite the airport being bustling at 05:30, I found myself the sole occupant of the lounge, giving me the freedom to explore its spacious and well-appointed interior.

Spending time in an airport lounge after landing may seem unusual to some, but it can be a practical solution.
In my case, I had arrived from London Heathrow on Emirates flight EK42 at 04:41, while my parents were on the following flight, EK4, landing at 06:59. The lounge provided a comfortable waiting area, ideal for recharging after a long flight. For business travelers, the conference facilities offer a convenient place to conduct meetings without leaving the airport.
