Haryana Tourism is set to celebrate Haryana Tourism Day on September 1 with a variety of exciting activities planned across the state. Established on September 1, 1974, Haryana Tourism Corporation marks this day annually by organizing various events at its tourist resorts to showcase the state’s rich cultural heritage and natural beauty.

This year, the festivities are elevating to new heights with the introduction of adventure activities. In collaboration with the Forest Department of Haryana, there will be trekking opportunities in Morni Hills, Panchkula, and the Aravalli Hills in Faridabad. Additionally, a thrilling two-day food festival will be held at Hotel Rajhans in Faridabad, catering to both adventure enthusiasts and culinary aficionados.



The celebration will feature a series of engaging events that emphasize the local culture, heritage, and scenic landscapes. Among these is a trekking trail from Thana to Shamu in Morni Hills, offering participants a chance to enjoy serene nature and scenic views of the Ghaggar river on August 31, starting at 6 AM. Another highlight includes the Aravalli Nature Trail Trek Tour, which provides an exploration of the forest ecosystem and offers bird watching and tree assessment opportunities.

This trek will start at 7 AM on September 1 from Saras Tourist Complex, Damdama to Baba Bala Dass Mandir in village Bhelpa. The food festival, set to take place from September 31 to October 1 at Rajhans, Surajkund, will feature a fusion of Haryanvi and Rajasthani cuisines. This culinary event will allow visitors to savor a wide array of delectable dishes while enjoying various entertaining activities such as camel rides, puppet shows, mehndi applications, and traditional music and dance performances.

These activities highlight the diverse traditions of the region and promise a memorable experience for all ages. Overall, Haryana Tourism Day is poised to offer a memorable experience filled with fun, adventure, and cultural richness, reflecting the vibrant spirit and charm of Haryana.
