Neha Dhupia, a familiar face in the Indian film industry for over two decades, has spoken candidly about her ongoing struggle to find compelling roles in Bollywood. Dhupia's acting journey began in 2000 with the Japanese film Ninja Odoru ! Ninja Densetsu, followed by her Telugu debut in Ninne Istapaddanu (2003). The same year, she entered Bollywood with Qayamat: City Under Threat , marking a promising entry.

Highlighting the inconsistent box office performance of films, she cited her movies Ek Chalis Ki Last Local, Mithya , and A Thursday as examples. Despite praise for her performances, these films reached limited audiences.



Neha Dhupia Speaks About Getting Offers From South Cinema Interestingly, Neha went on to add that she has received more recent film offers from South Indian cinema. She shared details about receiving two consecutive offers from the South within a three-month period. Contrasting this experience, Neha admitted, "But when was the last time I got a Hindi film offer, I don't even remember.

" She acknowledges the ongoing challenges faced by the Bollywood industry. Neha Dhupia Shares Thoughts On Asking For Work Neha spoke about her willingness to actively pursue opportunities. "There's no harm in asking for work or knocking on doors," she states.

However, she acknowledges the difficulty when "the people who are offering work are struggling with the math" – a reference to the financial uncertainties within the industry. Neha's latest release, Bad Newz , starring Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk, offers a return to the big screen after a string of OTT projects. In the Dharma Productions film, she portrays the role of Saloni's (Triptii) aunt.
