- I‘m not sure that I have a recipe, but I‘m really trying to change, to follow my instinct, to surprise the audience. So, there was a lot of evolution since the first album that was really kind of a Bossa Nova album, and we went to a lot of different places. And yeah, I think it‘s still, the recipe is trying to still be creative and to try to find the right performance.

- Well, the band members, it‘s changed a lot through all the years, but I would say that we always try to have people that are very open to a lot of different genres of music. The drummer is more pop, the bass player is more hip-hop, rock and maybe jazz. And I think that the singers are quite different, and for example, Phoebe is more like a soul, blues kind of singer, and Melanie is more like a pop singer, very Frenchy.



So that‘s the thing, that everything is quite diverse and changing all the time. - At Rubix Festival, Bijou won’t be there, but Marine Quemere will be there with Alyona, who features on quite a few tracks on the new album. For the ‘Shout’ video we wanted to do something fresh and full of sunshine, but still keeping it very French, we filmed it in the South of France.

It gives a new image to the band, which is interesting. - Yes, I hope so. We filmed two other tracks during this session ‘Love Will Tear Us Apart’ and ‘People Are People’.
