The Great Indian Kapil Show which had a successful run on the small screen wrapped up recently after 13 episodes. Ever since then, the fans of the show have been waiting eagerly for season 2 . Sources close to the show informed ETimes TV exclusively that the team of TGIKS will start shooting for the show on August 13 . The show will go on-air from Tuesday and the first episode will feature the Bollywood Wives. The season one of TGIKS features some of the biggest stars of Bollywood, music and cricket.
From Ranbir Kapoor, his mother Neetu Kapoor, his sister Ridheema Sahni to International musician Ed Sheeran, the show had some well-known personalities from the showbiz world. Bollywood’s Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan who has never been to Kapil’s show before, made an exception this time and appeared on the show where he spilled some beans about his life. The finale of the season one of The Great Indian Kapil Show ended on a high note with Sunil Grover and Krushna Abhishek appearing in the episode as Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.
Their mimicry and comic timing left the audiences and fans of the show in splits of laughter. Not just that the guests for the finale episode were Kartik Aaryan and his mother. Their bond and Kartik’s mother revealing some unknown facts about her son’s life was also the highlight of the episode.
