Shweta Tripathi is fresh off the success of the Mirzapur series that has become a part of the pop culture already. People have been making memes on the characters and the dialogues and the actress has now jumped into the rustic world of Netflix’s Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein . And just like Mirzapur , this show is also set to bloom into a trilogy.

In an exclusive interview with Firstpost, Shweta spoke about how she had forget and keep the character from that Prime Video show quiet, jumping into the role of Shikha, and how love is all about letting go. Edited excerpts from the interview What is the one quality about your role you wish you had in real life? I think Shikha has a very big heart. You need to have a big heart to allow people to let them be themselves and forgive them.



Sometimes no matter how much you love somebody, you have to keep a distance because it is good for both of them. Yours is the gentlest soul in an otherwise twisted show. What was the preparation for you like? I had to be gentler than who I am because I had to keep my character Golu from Mirzapur quiet.

I’m stuck in a situation where they say Aage Kuan Peeche Khaai. She’s not being completely honest to the person she’s getting married to. But he’s ready to accept the fact that he’s not the first love of his wife.
