: Malkajgiri BJP MP Etala Rajendar questioned Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy why the government was carrying out the demolition drives on Saturdays and Sundays and wondered if the CM didn’t believe the laws, courts and judges. After visiting Nalla Cheruvu in Kukatpally where structures were demolished, Rajendar said that no government that acted against the poor and middle-class people would survive.
The courts and judges act as per the laws and humanitarian basis. The High Court must consider the demolition issues on a humanitarian basis on a suo moto basis, he urged. “Why Revanth Reddy is not thinking on a humanitarian basis and what he could achieve by demolishing the houses of the poor? They may not go to court due to their financial condition.
But, you would definitely face their curse. The government had acted inhumanly. The Telangana community will hate such actions,” Rajender said.
Rajendar said: “The HYDRA officials are acting in a vindictive manner by damaging the machinery and other goods, besides demolishing the sheds. Revanth Reddy is acting like he is the sole protector to maintain ecological balance.”.
