The married couple thrilled fans after the update Dick and Angel Strawbridge thrilled fans as they shared an exciting update. The married couple's efforts to restore a derelict 19th-century chateau in France captured the hearts of fans who fell in love with the hit Channel 4 show, Escape to the Chateau. The two decided to step away from the programme after nine series in 2022 so children, Arthur and Dorothy, could grow up without the constant presence of camera crews in their lives.
However, they have not shunned the limelight completely as the family are heading back on the road this year for a new tour. The show, Forever Home, will give fans an insight into life at the fairytale castle in Pays de la Loire since the programme ended. Dick and Angel have taken to Instagram to reveal they are now all set to embark on the UK tour.
A post said: "It’s happening!!! Our incredible tour team has arrived at the Chateau! 1 tour manager...
1 tech! 1 empty van and a lot of excitement! It’s nearly showtime! See you very soon!" The tour arrives at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall on October 12 and the couple can't wait to return to a city they have such fond memories of. Dick told the ECHO in an exclusive interview last month: "[Liverpudlians are] bigger than big. I am Northern Irish.
"We come from a community where everybody speaks, everybody listens and everybody joins in at the same time. There's that much energy in the room and that's exactly what Liverpool is like as well." Fans wer.
