Erin McGregor’s daughter Taylor has taken to Instagram to pay a heartfelt tribute to her ‘best friend’ Terry Kavanagh after he married her mum at the weekend. The panto star’s partner Terry, with whom she shares young son Harry, proposed to her live on stage in the Olympia Theatre on St Stephen’s Day back in 2022. Taylor, who Erin had from a previous relationship, was one of many McGregor’s, including MMA fighter Conor , who attended the wedding at the lavish five-star Cashel Palace Hotel, located in Co Tipperary.
Sharing a snap of her walking down the aisle at the beginning of the ceremony, Taylor used the opportunity to reflect on her close relationship with Terry, who she refers to as her ‘dad.’. She captioned the post: ‘Any man can be a father but it takes someone special to be a dad you took me under your wing and treated me as your own from day one.
‘Thank you for being my best friend and guiding me through life. In my heart you’ll always be my dad and now I get to share your last name.’ Terry replied in the comments section: ‘Love you so much Tay Tay.

’ Despite teasing the possibility of getting married abroad, Erin and Terry decided to have their ceremony in Ireland as a means of making things less stressful for their son Harry, who has additional needs. ‘Less stress for us on our big day was the deciding factor. We have decided to stay at home and marry in our own beautiful countryside.
