KUCHING (Oct 7): Entrepreneurs in Sarawak are urged to participate in this year’s Malaysia Import and Export Commodity Fair held in conjunction with the 19th Malaysia International Branding Showcase 2024, aimed at exchanging views and exploring business opportunities. Jointly organised by ES International Event Management Sdn Bhd, Persatuan Usahawan Wawasan Wanita Malaysia, and Malaysia Promas International Business Society (Promas), the events will be held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, taking place from Nov 28 to 30.
ES International Event Management managing director Dato Chong Chong Tik, who is also Promas president, said the commodity fair will provide a platform for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the country to seek and explore the export market. “Entrepreneurs across Sarawak are invited to participate in the commodity fair and branding showcase to explore business opportunities and establish collaborations,” he told a press conference here today. According to Chong, this year marks the first time the organisers have offered incentives for participants from overseas, adding that these participants will be provided with a three-day, two-night accommodation.
