CHICO — Enloe Health is one of six hospitals in California nominated for the most beautiful hospital in the United States by healthcare staffing company Soliant. Voting ends today via soliant.com.
“We are honored to be nominated for this recognition,” said Jolene Francis, Enloe’s vice president of philanthropy and communications . “We certainly do have a beautiful hospital on The Esplanade, and what makes it even more beautiful is the compassionate care provided by our staff. They pour their hearts into their work, into our patients and into our community.

; Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage; Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach; Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center; and Providence St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton. All told, 90 hospitals are up for the award.
Soliant Health — based in the Atlanta suburb Peachtree Corners, Georgia — provides medical staff to various healthcare facilities throughout the United States. Per its website, Soliant chooses hospitals based not only on their physical beauty but also what is within, saying staff and infrastructure add to the beauty. This helps patients feel more comfortable and at home so they are able to heal faster.

The winners will be announced July 31. Voters can vote as many times as they’d like.
