AN ANIMAL attraction in Farnham is about to undergo a huge transformation - and kids are going to love it. Plans to invest millions into the bird attraction to create new spaces has been approved and it will include the biggest indoor play zone in the region. Birdworld currently stands on a 26-acre park and is home to thousands of birds from penguins and owls to flamingos , as part of ongoing conservation work.
Recently, the attraction have had their plans approved to undergo a £40million renovation project that will create three huge play zones. Inside will be a 1,500 square foot play area - this will be one of the biggest indoor play zones in the UK. It will be set out in interconnected colourful birdhouses with lots slides, tunnels and nets to crawl across.
Read more on top attractions Nearby there will be a designated toddler soft play area with seating for parents. Birdland will also renovate their outdoor play by creating a site that they've named 'Spriglet Village'. The area will feature large wooden towers, connecting bridges, and a spiral net, all set above ground at a variety of heights.
Along the trail there will be puzzles, climbing and boulder walls and rope swings. The play area features low-level log seating and staggered wooden platforms with water pumps, decorated with sculpted leaves and branches.
