AN EMOTIONAL Elaine Crowley has shared a heartbreaking anniversary tribute to her "forever missed" nephew. The Ireland AM host lost her nephew Ultan , 11, after his short battle with cancer last year. Elaine took to Instagram yesterday to post a gorgeous video of her family gathering for Ultan's one year anniversary .

The Virgin Media presenter wrote in her caption: "One year today. Forever loved, forever missed Ultan." In the clip, the 46-year-old and her family members all stood around Ultan's grave holding white and baby blue balloons.

At the same time, each family member let go of their balloon and watched it float away with the wind. As the balloons floated away Elaine panned the camera up to the sky to show them fill the sky. The Irish host then shared a picture of Ultan's one year anniversary card which had a sweet picture of the young lad attached to it.

On the card, a heartbreaking message wrote: "Always in our hearts and missed beyond words with all our love, your adoring aunties, Lily, Elaine, Mags, Mona and Veron and gran aunt Angela." Fans and close friends were quick to show their love for the presenter as they took to the Instagram comments. Gwen wrote: "Sending strength and hugs, thinking of all of you.

" Jean said: "Sending love, I have no words." Michelle added: "This is so beautiful." While Teresa remarked: "Love to you all, thinking of you.

" Elaine recently opened up on her struggle with grief following Ultan's sudden passing. The popular presenter took to Instagram during the week to share a heart-melting video that Ultan had made for her picking flowers out of a bush. The Cork native explained the special meaning behind the video saying: "Missing this little lunatic a lot today.

. the world is a bloody boring place without him. "Here he found some thistledown and got my sister to video it and send it to me.

"For context, when I was small I had an imaginary friend called Larry who was made of thistledown. Yep, I was bonkers too. Still am tbh.

" Elaine spoke about her difficult grief, saying: "I know it’s sometimes hard to support those who are grieving, but I think it’s very important to be able to talk about those we love and lost every day. "They live on in our heads and hearts, and in heaven. Memories are precious.

"We miss you so much Ultan. Love, love, love.".
