With footage of his secret recordings of wife Belle Dingle stored on the device, Tom is desperate to reclaim it to hide the crucial evidence of his wicked deeds. The footage is critical for Belle as she believes it is concrete proof of Tom's abusive behaviour in their marriage, especially after she attacked him last week in retaliation .
Tom's fury raged as he intimidated Carl into silence, insinuating that he could face jail time for snatching the iPad. Once Carl squeals that Isaac has it, Tom darkly resolves to recover it. When an anxious Carl questions his method, Tom gazes at the unsuspecting Isaac and ominously says: "I'm sure I will think of something.
