This partnership highlights Japan as a prime destination filled with engaging activities, such as snow festivals, skiing, snowboarding in picturesque mountains, and soothing onsen hot springs. Thanks to relaxed visa regulations implemented last year, Japan has seen a surge in visitors from the UAE. In the first half of 2024 alone, nearly 7,000 UAE nationals visited Japan, marking a 71% increase from the previous year. Emirates has serviced Japan for over two decades, initially launching flights to Osaka in 2002.
