Kangana Ranaut attended the trailer launch of her ambitious film, Emergency at a multiplex in Mumbai. She was graced by Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhry and Shreyas Talpade and producers Renu Pitti, Umesh Bansal, Aksht Ranaut. As expected, Kangana made some interesting comments at the event.

Emergency trailer launch: “Everybody knows I have been boycotted by the industry; they can get very negative and vile to sabotage films and to ruin careers” – Kangana Ranaut Kangana Ranaut thanked her producer and well wishers and then said, “I want to give a special thanks to my cast. Everybody knows I have been boycotted by the industry. It’s not easy to stand with me or do my film.

And its most definitely not easy to praise me. But they have done all of it. I thank Anupam ji for always being my side and also Mahima ji, Milind ji, Shreya ji.

” Kangana continued, “An important person in the film who gave me a lot of strength is Satish Kaushik ji. We miss him a lot today. He’s not with us today.

But when a person is kind-hearted, who jaate waqt bhi kisi ko kasht deke nahin jaate. He completed all his work, talked to me about the film and finished his dubbing. It seemed as if unhone soch samaj ke humein alvida kaha hai .

” Kangana Ranaut later revealed that the PR team of the film had requested that there should be no question and answer round session with the media. But it was held on Anupam Kher’s insistence. Anupam disagreed with Kangana Ranaut’s statement that she has been boycotted.

He said, “I don’t think that’s true. How can anybody ignore what you have? After this film, everybody will quietly send you a message that ‘ Mujhe bhi kaam karna hai aapke saath ’.” Anupam Kher added, “The reason I decided to let media ask questions because you are someone who has answered questions.

We’ll try and restrict the questions only to Emergency . The producers have spent so much on the film, after all.” Kangana Ranaut explained, “There are people who are waiting to overwrite this product with negativity, they would invest in the PRs to malign the film.

That’s our only concern. The people in our film industry can get very negative and vile to sabotage films and to ruin careers. We have seen that happening.

Hence, the hesitation. Warna main toh Parliament mein bolti hoon. Aisi koi baat nahin hai!” Emergency releases in cinemas on September 6.
