Tuesday, October 1, 2024 Uber has teamed up with Aquila Private Game Reserve to introduce a new adventure called ‘Uber Safari’ in Cape Town. This exciting addition is part of Uber’s ‘Go Anywhere’ series, featuring exclusive limited-time travel experiences, and will be available through the Uber app starting October 1, 2024, through February 1, 2025. As part of the full-day experience, participants will be picked up in a branded Uber Safari vehicle in Cape Town and transported to Aquila Private Game Reserve.
Upon arrival, guests will receive a warm welcome with a toast and lunch before setting off in a traditional safari vehicle, accompanied by knowledgeable game rangers and field guides. These experts will enhance the experience by maximizing the chances of spotting the Big Five during the game drive. After the safari adventure, guests can explore Aquila’s expansive grounds before returning to Cape Town.
Reservations for Uber Safari can be made starting October 1 and are available for booking between 24 hours and 90 days in advance. The safari will take place on Fridays and Saturdays until February 1, with a ticket price of US$200 (R3,550). Each Uber Safari vehicle can accommodate up to four guests on the journey to Aquila, while the safari vehicle at the reserve can host up to 22 guests.
