Eco Hotels and Resorts Ltd is on track to achieve profitability by the end of the next fiscal year, driven by strategic expansion and a focus on sustainable hospitality. The company recently acquired three properties totaling 178 keys, marking a significant step toward its goal of becoming a leading player in the Indian hospitality market.
These acquisitions align with the company’s commitment to developing eco-friendly properties with a zero-carbon footprint. The company’s CFO, Vikram Doshi, stated that Eco Hotels aims to turn profitable by March 2026, positioning itself as a frontrunner in India’s hotel industry. With a clear focus on sustainability, the company is setting new standards in its first year of operation, prioritizing eco-conscious practices across all its properties.
The recent acquisitions include a 90-room property in Mysore, a 44-room hotel in Tirupati, and another 44-room asset in Nagpur. Eco Hotels has adopted an asset-light strategy, acquiring properties on a long-term lease basis, allowing the company to expand its footprint efficiently. In addition to its recent acquisitions, the company is finalizing deals for new properties in Shirdi, Jodhpur, and Nagpur, which will bring its total room count to over 400 by the end of October 2024.
