Saturday, August 24, 2024 easyJet is set to expand its operations from London Southend Airport with the launch of three new routes to Reus and Almeria in Spain, as well as the popular Mediterranean island of Malta. These routes will be available for booking, with flights commencing in March 2025. This announcement follows easyJet’s earlier declaration to establish a new three-aircraft base at London Southend, which will serve as the gateway for seven additional destinations.

The expanded roster includes Gran Canaria and Tenerife in the Canary Islands, Dalaman and Antalya in Turkey, Enfidha in Tunisia, Marrakech in Morocco, and Pisa in Italy, catering to the growing demand for diverse holiday options. With these new routes, travelers can now book both flight-only tickets and easyJet holiday packages for a total of ten new destinations. The inaugural flights are scheduled to take off on March 30, 2025, increasing the total number of routes from London Southend Airport to 17, covering beach, city, and ski destinations.
