EASTENDERS fans have spotted a “weird detail” in Bobby Beale’s final scene after complaining that his exit storyline was “disappointing.” Clay Milner Russell’s final soap scenes aired last week, months after he announced that he would be quitting the BBC soap in April. After five years playing Bobby, Clay decided to spread his wings away from Walford, as did his character, who set off for his new life in the Cotswolds with his mum Jane ( Laurie Brett ) and her partner Masood ( Nitin Ganatra ).
Jane returned to escort her son off the Square and, after he said his goodbyes, he got in her car and the pair drove away together. However, eagle-eyed soap fans spotted something weird with the scene as they were shocked to see Bobby getting in the back seat of the car rather than the front passenger seat since Jane was driving. Confused, one viewer asked on X, formerly Twitter : “Was that not Jane’s car taking Bobby away?
