A new EastEnders star hhas revealed her four-word response to going on the BBC series. Laura Doddington has joined the show as Teddy Mitchell's former partner Nicola and said "I keep pinching myself". The actress, notable for her roles in 'Doctors', 'Holby', and 'The Midwich Cuckoos', is set to tread the boards of Albert Square in a "complex" upcoming stint.
Over the moon about her new part, she added@ "I still can't believe I've joined EastEnders . "I grew up watching the show, so the first time I filmed in The Vic, I was like a kid at Christmas to be in such an iconic place with such a brilliant cast and crew." She's strong and completely unapologetic about who she is.
" She also shared her delight in working with the on-screen Mitchell family, praising, "I've been so lucky to have my Mitchell boys, Roland, Elijah and Lewis, as they've taken me under their wing, and we feel like a family already. I'm loving every second so far." Laura has hit the ground running with filming already underway, and audiences will catch her first appearance on the beloved BBC soap later this year.
