Eamonn Holmes, the daytime TV star, is making the most of his life following his split from Ruth Langsford. The 64-year-old former ITV This Morning presenter was recently seen embarking on a luxury cruise with his new love interest, who has reportedly been referring to him as her "soulmate" just four months after his marriage ended. Despite battling health issues, Eamonn has been spotted enjoying time with his new partner, Katie Alexander, 42, in recent weeks as they begin their romantic journey together.
Given that Katie works as a relationship counsellor, it seems their relationship should be smooth sailing. A source told Heat Magazine : "Katie is telling everyone that she's totally smitten and in love. They've known each other for nine years, so this isn't a fly-by-night relationship - she's in it for the long haul.
" It appears things are moving quickly between them, with the pair reportedly house hunting together. The source added: "They're now looking at places to move in together, as they want a lot more space." This could potentially mean a return to Eamonn's hometown of Belfast while he recovers from his ongoing health problems, reports the Mirror .
The Sun reports that the TV host underwent a double replacement in 2016 and has been using a wheelchair since undergoing back surgery earlier this year. In January, following a fall that resulted in a broken shoulder and nine months on from a significant divorce, the ex-ITV daytime presenter is seemingly moving forward wit.
