GB News: Eamonn Holmes speaks about incident involving his walker Eamonn Holmes blasted "rude people" on his GB News show this morning after experiencing an act of discrimination from an older woman. The TV presenter shared how there are "horrible pigs" in the world as he discussed how Gen Z are now having etiquette lessons in school to be taught manners. Speaking on one recent episode of unjust behaviour, Eamonn shared: "Rude, rude people around, there’s no point pretending everyone is nice when there are horrible pigs out there.

"There was this horrible old cow last week. I was getting into my car, and my driver was opening my door to assist me, and I couldn’t move. "We left my walker beside the car; this old cow came along, and she threw it.

“Threw it to the side and said, ‘That’s blocking the pavement’. I swear to God, if she had been a man, I would have thumped her." Eamonn Holmes blasted (Image: GB News) It comes just days after Eamonn was spotted cutting a frail figure as he stepped out for lunch with a friend - using a walker for support.

The TV presenter was spotted grabbing a bite to eat with a pal at Sam's Cafe on Primrose Hill in London wearing a grey tshirt and tracksuit joggers and using the walker as he entered and left the restaurant. The broadcaster, 64, has been struggling with ill-health in recent years and recently split from wife Ruth Langsford. Eamonn had a double hip replacement in 2016, followed by surgery last year, which left him using a wheelchair.

The TV star was nominated for the Best News Presenter and Best News Broadcast at the TRIC Awards back in June- and was even considering not attending due to his ill-health. He arrived at the glitzy event in a wheelchair and later used a walker to get around. After GB News were announced as Best News programme, Eamonn told the audience: “I wasn’t going to come, but I’ve got this new chair with all these gadgets.

“I had an operation a year and a half ago, and two things went wrong so I have two things in my back I don’t want. Trending "So I’ll happily accept this.” It comes weeks after Eamonn and Ruth announced that they had gone their separate ways last month.

Eamonn said about their split at the awards ceremony, “I’m not OK. This is not a good time at all.” He added to The Mirror: "It’s too early to say but I hope we can still be friends.
