Fans of Dancing With the Stars had a lot to complain about Episode 6's Disney Night, but Team Roar's performance was not one of them. The episode saw viewers fume over Stephen and Rylee 's dance, which they claimed was something out of Night 1, Alan Bersten's "terrifying" donkey costume , and especially the "unfair" scoring of virtually every contestant . Before the truly upsetting part of the night — Phaedra Parks and Val Chmerkovskiy's elimination — fans were treated to two team dances from Team Roar and Team Goof.
On Team Roar was Danny & Witney, Dwight & Daniella, Phaedra & Val, and Stephen & Rylee, and they brought what fans have now dubbed one of the most memorable moments of the entire hit ABC dancing competition show. At the climax of their dance, Dwight picked Stephen up and twirled him around before placing him back down and posing with their teammates. Despite some fans taking to Reddit to comment how strange, horrible, and disjointed the dance was, with some fans even claiming Phaedra looked bored, others couldn't get over the moment.
