Thursday, September 19, 2024 Dusit International , a leading Thai hotel and property development company, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Saigontourist Group, one of Vietnam’s largest multi-service travel corporations, to boost tourism growth in both Thailand and Vietnam. This partnership will focus on strategic promotions, enhanced services, and the creation of innovative tourism experiences. As part of the MOU, Dusit International and Saigontourist Group will collaborate by sharing technical expertise, knowledge, and best practices to improve the quality and efficiency of tourism services in both nations.

The companies will also explore joint hotel development opportunities and promote each other’s tourism products at key events, festivals, and travel fairs. Thailand remains a major market for Vietnam’s tourism industry, with Saigontourist Group’s vast network of hotels, resorts, entertainment venues, and conference centers in Vietnam welcoming numerous Thai visitors annually. Similarly, Thailand is a top destination for Vietnamese tourists.



In 2023 and the first half of 2024, Saigontourist Travel Service Company organized trips for around 15,400 Vietnamese travelers to visit Thailand’s most popular destinations, including Bangkok, Pattaya, Chiang Mai, and Phuket, where Dusit Hotels and Resorts have a strong presence. Beyond its expanding global hotel and resort portfolio, Dusit is also a leader in hospitality education, operating institutions like Dusit Thani College, The Food School, and Le Cordon Bleu Dusit Culinary School, which nurture top talent for Dusit Hotels and the broader hospitality industry. Building on this, Dusit International and Saigontourist Group will also collaborate on educational and training programs for tourism operations to ensure their respective workforces maintain industry-leading standards.

In Vietnam, Dusit operates the Dusit Princess Moonrise Beach Resort Phu Quoc and plans to open Dusit Le Palais Tu Hoa in Hanoi next year.
