Dusit Hotels and Resorts, a premier division of Dusit International in Thailand specializing in hotel and property ventures, has formed a strategic alliance with Generator and Freehand Hotels, a distinguished innovator and manager of experiential hostels and boutique hotels across Europe and the USA. This collaboration aims to combine their developmental strengths to foster sustainable growth globally for both brands.
This pivotal alliance represents a significant milestone in the expansion paths of both Dusit International and Generator and Freehand Hotels. In attendance at the announcement were key figures including Gilles Cretallaz, COO of Dusit International; Siradej Donavanik, VP – Global Development, Dusit International; Alastair Thomann, CEO of Generator and Freehand Hotels; and Anmol Bhojwani, Head of Development for Asia Pacific & Middle East at Generator and Freehand Hotels. Through this partnership, Generator and Freehand Hotels will utilize their extensive expertise in crafting lifestyle hybrid accommodations within the affordable luxury sector in Europe and the USA, exploring opportunities to introduce Dusit Hotels and Resorts to major European cities like London, Paris, and Rome, as well as sought-after American locations including New York, Miami, and Los Angeles.
Conversely, Dusit Hotels and Resorts will capitalize on its strong presence in Asia and the Middle East to expand the unique boutique hotel-hostel hybrid concept of Generator and Freehand to top urban markets such as Bangkok, Manila, Kyoto, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi, along with famous island getaways like Phuket and Bali. “It’s a real win-win situation for both companies,” said Mr Siradej Donavanik, VP – Global Development, Dusit International . “It broadens our development horizons without compromising our existing brand portfolios, allowing us to capitalise on prospects that might not align with our current brand offerings.
