Early morning runners were given a fright as 10 cloaked figures from the new Dune: Prophecy series were spotted lurking outside Battersea Power Station. Wearing ornate black robes and veils outside the iconic chimneys, the mysterious group caused a stir as passers-by caught a glance. The 10 women were dressed as Truthsayers, characters we meet in the series whose name comes from their ability to detect when truth is being told, predecessors of the Bene Gesserit - a powerful, all female group who have carefully developed abilities – and were in real costumes from the series.

It follows two Harkonnen sisters as they combat forces that threaten the future of humankind and establish the fabled sect that will become known as the Bene Gesserit. The ominous figures were pictured outside the iconic south London location, where the UK launch will take place, to mark the new series, which airs on Sky and streaming service NOW on Monday 18 November. Bojana Nikitovic, the costume designer, said: "The thing that I am very proud of is that we created and manufactured all costumes in our workshop helped with several small external producers.
