Wednesday, October 9, 2024 Dubai’s limousine transport sector continues its remarkable growth trajectory in 2024, with passenger numbers reaching 37,858,890 in the first half of the year, up from 25,223,984 during the same period in 2023, marking a significant 50% growth. The number of trips recorded also surged by 50%, reflecting the booming demand for both traditional limousine services and e-hailing limousine platforms. This impressive growth is the result of the concerted efforts of Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) to expand the sector by increasing the number of operators and vehicles available to meet the rising demand for limousine services in the emirate.
According to Adel Shakri, Director of Planning and Business Development at the Public Transport Agency of Dubai’s RTA, the continued development of the limousine transport sector is pivotal in supporting the city’s economic and digital growth. The limousine sector recorded 37,858,890 passengers in the first six months of 2024, compared to 25,223,984 during the same period in 2023, representing an increase of 12,634,906 passengers . This sharp rise reflects the growing demand for high-end transport options as Dubai continues to attract more business travelers , tourists , and residents looking for luxury transportation services.
