David Taylor, 58, was driving along Forty Foot Bank, Ramsey, at about 5.30pm on January 8, when he attempted the manoeuvre.

Taylor crashed head-on with the motorbike ridden by Alexander Paynter, 25, close to the junction with Benwick Road. Mr Paynter, of Blacksmith’s Close, Ramsey Forty Foot, was pronounced dead at the scene. Taylor, from Mallard Close in Chatteris , remained at the sce.
