Vadodara: Four persons, including two who have a series of offences registered against them, were in an SUV that rammed into a railing at high speed at Kala Ghoda Circle in the city in the wee hours of Saturday. The accused were allegedly drunk and in possession of liquor. According to police , the accused drank liquor in Warasiya and continued to do so in the SUV while driving to the railway station area.
The driver of the SUV, Ravi Devjani, lost control over the vehicle and drove into a railing near a shade erected for traffic policemen, at around 3.30am on Saturday. Police officials rushed to the spot after learning of the accident .
Four people were inside the SUV. One was a minor. The three adults in the SUV were Devjani (30), Akash Lalwani (22) and Dharmesh Sasdev (29).
Lalwani is accused in cases of cybercrime and other offences registered in Vadodara and Ahmedabad. Devjani has offences under prohibition laws and other laws registered against him.
