A DRIVER has spoken out after their brand-new vehicle allegedly became unusable weeks after taking it off the lot. In a Facebook post, the new car owner said her SUV was no longer road-worthy because of maintenance issues. In July, the car owner claimed to have purchased a "luxury edition" of a 2024 large SUV model in Canada.

But after one month and 2,000 kilometers, or just over 1,200 miles, the car "developed problems which made it undriveable," the owner said. The owner didn't specify what issue she had with her vehicle. But they said it took excessive time to fix the just-off-the-lot car.



Read More on Dealerships "The dealership took it in for what was to be warranty work, the driver said. "Seven weeks later, I have not been able to get the car out of the shop." Someone in the comments section said the driver's issue was part of an alleged "dumpster fire" at the unnamed dealership.

Several other drivers said the driver should look into Canadian lemon laws to get their money back. She claimed the dealership convinced the car's manufacturer there was something wrong with her model.
