No doubt, the much-hyped sequel ‘Double iSmart’ has good openings by repeatedly drawing Rs 4.5 crore net collections on day one in the two Telugu states and surpassed the collections of Mr Bachchan far ahead. It is considered a good opening for the Ram Pothineni film and also it had the advantage of being the sequel to earlier hit movie ‘iSmart Shankar,” says a distributor.
The combination of Ram Pothineni and Puri Jagannadh also triggered some interest and good collections on the first day in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. “The film was released in more than 300 odd theatres and also had some advance bookings too,” he adds..
