Jaipur: JMC Greater commissioner Rukmani Riar on Friday appealed to residents to not throw food items on roads for stray animals . Speaking at an event held under the Swachhata Hi Seva fortnight, Riar said, “I appeal to the public to keep the city clean and beautiful as public participation is most important for this. Please do not throw rotis or homemade prasad on the roads during the two weeks of Shraddha, nor give food to stray dogs at any place on the roads.

Cooperation of the public is essential in making Jaipur a clean city . Cleanliness is a public habit that also affects future generations. Household waste should be segregated before being disposed of.
