Donna Gorski, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at her home, following a life full of love, dedication and service.She was born November 25, 1934 in Lorain. Donna graduated from Lorain High School with the class of 1953.
After graduation, Donna worked at Fruehauf Trailer, now known as Ford Ohio Assembly Plant. On January 5, 1956, she married the love of her life, Richard Gorski. They shared many wonderful years together and made a beautiful family.
Donna was deeply involved in her faith community. She was an active member of St. Vincent De Paul, where she served in the altar and rosary society, including two terms as president and as the chair for the ways and means committee.
Donna was a former dedicated member of St. Francis of Assisi Church. She also held an officer position with the Lorain Catholic Women’s Club.
Her hobbies brought her much joy and included spending time at Kelleys Island and traveling to Florida. Donna loved participating in her card club and enjoyed outings with her theater girls.Her legacy lives on through her loving family, her daughter, DeAnn Beatty (Sam); her grandchildren, Gerald Gorski (Liz) and Megan Worcester (John); her great grandchildren, Ava, Grayson, Sophie and Sam and her brother, Don Profant (Janet).
Donna was preceded in death by her loving husband of sixty years, Richard on April 3, 2017; and parents, Michael and Mary Profant (Matasic).The family extends a heartfelt thank you to all those who visited her this summer.Donna will be remembered for her unwavering faith and dedication to her family.
